Our Story

Meet Shannon and Stacy Price

Our story is as unique as the love stories we help create. Shannon and Stacy are the heart and soul behind this enchanting venue. Married for almost 25 years, they raised their three kids while running a successful trucking company for two decades. Their next chapter began the day fate appeared in the form of a For Sale sign on a nearby piece of land.

In July of 2019, Stacy spotted the sign and excitedly texted Shannon, “Look what’s for sale!”
Without hesitation, he replied with something unexpected yet exhilarating: “Let’s buy it and build a wedding venue!”
The land—an extension of their cherished home—spanned 200 acres and offered stunning opportunities for wedding photos. Stacy knew this was a venture worth pursuing.

The journey from vision to reality wasn’t without challenges. The land and existing building were in rough shape: no power, no running water, and no modern amenities. Undeterred, they got to work clearing brush and creating a breathtaking ceremony spot just over the hill. By August of 2020, the land was groomed and the ceremony site was ready, marking the beginning of Sunset Ranch’s story.

Then came the global pandemic. Despite the setbacks, the Prices remained committed to their dream. Fast forward to Christmas Eve of 2022, when their daughter got engaged — suddenly, the urgency to complete the venue became very real. Construction began in May of 2023, and by mid-September, the majority of the work was finished just in time for her wedding.

This endeavor was truly a labor of love. Blood, sweat, and tears were poured into every detail, with the entire family — and countless friends — helping bring Sunset Ranch to life. The journey wasn’t without its trials: just days before their daughter’s wedding, Shannon experienced a serious health scare. Diagnosed with a 99% blockage, he underwent a life-saving procedure and, against all odds, walked her down the aisle the very next day.

Our story is one of perseverance, passion, and the triumph of love. As we open our doors to you, we invite you to become part of the Sunset Ranch family — where your love story can begin, just as ours has. We are honored to host the start of your beautiful journey.
