About Us

Our story is as unique as the love stories we help create. Shannon and Stacy are the heart and soul behind this enchanting venue. Their journey began in 1997, married for almost 25 years, raising their 3 kids and operating a successful trucking company for two decades, they found themselves at a crossroads when fate unfolded in the form of a 'For Sale' sign on a piece of land.

In July of 2019, Stacy spotted the sign and excitedly texted Shannon, "look what’s for sale." Without missing a beat, his response was unexpected yet exhilarating, "let’s buy it and build a wedding venue!" The land, an extension of their cherished home, spanned 200 acres and promised stunning wedding photo opportunities, convincing Stacy that this was a venture worth pursuing.

The journey from vision to reality wasn't without its challenges. The initial state of the land and existing building left much to be desired – no power, no running water, and certainly no modern amenities. Undeterred, they set to work, cleaning up the brush and crafting a breathtaking ceremony spot just over the hill. By August of 2020, the land was manicured, and the ceremony spot was ready, marking the beginning of Sunset Ranch's journey.

Despite facing setbacks triggered by the onset of the global pandemic, the Prices remained resolute in turning their dream into a reality. Fast forward to the winter of 2022, with their daughters engagement on Christmas Eve, the urgency to complete the venue became more profound. Construction commenced in May of 2023, and by mid-September, the majority of the work was finished, just in time for her wedding.

This endeavor was a labor of love, quite literally. Blood, sweat, and tears were poured into every detail, with the entire family and a host of friends contributing to the success of Sunset Ranch. The journey was not without its share of trials; Shannon's health scare just days before their daughters wedding was a testament to the dedication that went into this venture. Diagnosed with a 99% blockage, Shannon underwent a life-saving procedure, and against all odds, he not only recovered but walked her down the aisle the very next day.
